BBT First Field Trial Next Month

Beyond Broadband Technology (BBT) will begin the first field trial of its downloadable conditional access system (DCAS)-based video platform by the end of the month, using the WinDBreak Cable system in Lyman, Nebraska. The initial set-top box provider is R.L. Drake, whose boxes are powered by STMicroelectronics chipsets.
