Sony Pictures Television Brings Array of Content and Celebrity Jeopardy to CES Show Floor

ARLINGTON, Va. — The world’s leading digital entertainment companies, including returning exhibitor Sony Pictures Television (SPT), will take the spotlight on the show floor at the upcoming 2009 International CES®, with the largest exhibition of digital entertainment in show history on display. Owned and produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)®, the 2009 International CES, the world’s largest tradeshow for consumer technology, returns to Las Vegas, January 8-11, 2009.

SPT will showcase its wide variety of content across all platforms at the 2009 International CES. Additionally, in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Jeopardy!, SPT will film daily episodes of Celebrity Jeopardy! on a specially built set on the CES show floor.

The 2009 International CES also will feature Content@CES, an exhibition on the show floor highlighting the latest developments in the content community and the market’s impact on technology. CES attendees will witness the companies that create, deliver and distribute content in one central location.

Additionally, the 2009 CES will feature more than 20 market-specific TechZones on the show floor, focused on emerging developments and ground-breaking achievements, including the latest in content development. Key TechZones for content and entertainment professionals include Wireless Mobility Brought to You by Qualcomm, located in the LVCC South Hall 3, which will highlight state-of-the-art mobile devices and the latest in wireless applications, and GSMA Mobile Broadband, located in the LVCC South Hall 4, which will highlight a diversity of products enhanced by mobile broadband.
