SARFT to purchase 3.5 million satellite set-top boxes

According to INTERFAX, China’s State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) will open a tender on Dec. 9 for 3.5 million set-top boxes for distribution as part of the impending launch of direct-to-home (DTH) satellite TV.
