Telefonica and TVA launch 'Trio Xtreme' in São Paulo

SÃO PAULO — Telefónica Brazil has launched its ‘Trio Xtreme’ triple play service in São Paulo in partnership with TVA. The service runs on Telefónica’s fibre-optic (FTTH) network and offers TV, telephony and broadband up to 30 Mbps.
The service is available in 26 districts of São Paulo in either SD (standard definition) or HD (high definition), and includes a digital video recorder with 160GB of storage capacity. The set-top boxes are reportedly supplied by Advanced Digital Broadcast (ADB) and Motorola.
