FastTV launches broadband TV PVR

FastTV has launched its broadband TV personal video recorder (PVR) for the Scandinavian market. The box has a 160GB hard disk and supports digital terrestrial reception.

The box is HDTV-capable and can decode both MPEG-2 and MPEG-4.

Initial orders have been received for 1500 units, with a forecast to sell 5000 in 2009.

Boxes are due to be available in Q2 this year.
