Cork, Ireland — DigiSoft.tv will launch their new solution at IPTV World Forum 2007 in London. The solution, which includes DigiSoft’s head-end Next Generation Service Delivery Platform “DigiHost”, is coupled with a new low-cost Java Set Top Box (STB). The STB runs a dynamic and customisable Interactive Program Guide (IPG), Video On Demand (VOD) interface, Network Personal Video Recorder interface and application launcher with a variety of interactive applications.

The new solution will provide a quick route to market for Telco’s and ISP’s due to the integration tool kit that will allow it to run with multiple ecosystem components such as video servers, encoders, Digital Rights Management and Conditional Access Systems. DigiSoft will be showcasing the new solution on their booth (#152) at the show.

DigiHost includes:

  • A Carrier Grade platform for application development, management and delivery.
  • A comprehensive application construction tool set that will allow development of services that scale to large subscriber numbers in future IPTV networks.
  • An integration software development kit SDK to hook DigiHost into complex IPTV ecosystems.
  • An EPG Management Console for a dynamic program guide.
