Thursday, March 19th, 2009
Ofcom has proposed that BT (LSE:BT.A)(NYSE:BT) should be allowed to sell a “bundle” of phone, broadband and television services, lifting regulatory controls that have existed since privatisation.
The new freedom should give a boost to the company’s BT Vision service, which currently has 398,000 subscribers compared with BSkyB’s 9.2m.
