Orb Networks Launches Orb Live for iPad and Android Phones

Users Can Now Placeshift Media from Their PC to These Portable Devices

OAKLAND, Calif. — Orb Networks, the leader in digital media streaming solutions, today announced the availability of its Orb Live software for iPad tablet computers and Android phones. Orb Live lets users placeshift their personal media such as music, photos and videos, live TV, and internet TV from their PC to their portable device. The software works with any Android phone, iPad, iPhone and iPod touch and is available from the iTunes App Store and the Android Market for $9.99.

Portable devices, including the most advanced smartphones and tablets, have limited storage and can access only limited internet content. Orb makes it possible for users to access their entire media collection stored on their PC, web-cam feeds, live TV, and internet TV and stream any content they wish to their phones and personal devices. Orb also announced today that users can now placeshift internet TV content from their PC to their Orb-enabled devices.

What is Orb MyCast?
