Haier to Demonstrate AMIMON-Based Wireless 1080p HDTVs at IFA

SANTA CLARA, CA — AMIMON Inc., the market leader in wireless HD semiconductor solutions, today announced that Haier Electronics will be demonstrating a 1080p/60Hz wireless TV based on AMIMON’s WHDI technology at the IFA Consumer Electronics tradeshow in Berlin, September 4 – 9, 2009. The demonstrated TV is embedded with AMIMON’s second generation chipset, AMN 2120/2220, which is designed for the WHDI™ (Wireless Home Digital Interface™) standard.
Interested IFA attendees are invited to see the demonstration of AMIMON’s technology at Haier’s booth at Hall 25./130.

AMIMON’s second generation chipset is the first chipset capable of wirelessly delivering full uncompressed 1080p/60Hz HD content throughout the entire home. It’s based on the revolutionary video modem technology operating in the 5GHz unlicensed band, pioneered by AMIMON and the backbone of WHDI.
