Ziggo digital TV without a set-top box
Wednesday, September 16th, 2009Dutch cable company Ziggo has introduced a Digitale Televisie Module, which in conjunction with a suitable CI Plus (CI+) compatible television set allows for the reception of its TV service without the need for a set-top box. Ziggo is the first cable company to make its service available in this way.
The Digital Television Module is available from September 16 through regular Ziggo retail channels and also from October 1 through its web site. The price of the module is €79.
