Fórum SBTVD defines two interactivity profiles

The Fórum do Sistema Brasileiro de TV Digital Terreste (Fórum SBTVD) has decided at its recent meeting on November 9th to create two interactivity profiles for the Japanese-Brazilian digital TV standard.

The Forum will establish a “Profile 1” specification providing a lower cost basic level of interactivity, and the “Profile 2” with advanced technology and higher prices.

A technical module has been set up to define the features of each of the profiles.
