Opera Software and GooMe Interactive Deliver the Best Web and Home Media Experience on Any TV

At the Consumer Electronics Show, Opera and GooME will show a modular and portable OTT media solution for IPTV and/or hybrid IP/Broadcast delivery

OSLO, Norway and RAANANA, Israel — Opera Software, the leading browser company, and GooMe Interactive, an innovative Over-The-Top (OTT) media solutions provider, today announced a strategic technology partnership to deliver modular Web-based solutions for experiencing TV, Web and home media for the Set-Top Box (STB) and DTV industry via IPTV and/or hybrid IP/Broadcast delivery.

By combining Opera’s Devices SDK with GooMe’s OTT media solution, the result is a seamless and interactive user experience with the simplicity of single remote control access. This solution gives operators, broadcasters and TV/set-top-box OEMs access to an entire range of Internet and media services, from traditional TV to home media streaming and On-Demand services such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
