Pay TV in Brazil grows fastest since 2002

According to Brazil’s Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (Anatel), with 1,152,624 new subscribers in 2009, Brazil reached 7,473,476 pay TV households at the end of 2009.
The growth rate of 18.24% is the highest recorded since 2002 when the sector grew by 26% and just beats the 18.18% rate seen in 2008.
