Poland's 'n' DTH adds 120k post-paid in 4Q09
Thursday, February 18th, 2010WARSAW — TVN Group, Poland’s leading media group, announced today its results for the fourth quarter and full year 2009.
The ‘n’ DTH platform reached 692 thousand active, revenue generating subscribers as of the end of 2009. At the same time “Telewizja na kartę” (TNK) enjoys 262 thousand active pre-paid customers. The success of ‘n’ is being driven by TVN Group’s high value subscriber offerings, superior HD technology and strong content. ‘n’ remains the market leader in delivering HD and VoD services.
The ‘n’ DTH platform increased its post paid subscriber number by over 199 thousand in the twelve months ended December 31, 2009. In the fourth quarter ‘n’ increased its post paid subscriber number by over 120 thousand.

Further investment in ‘n’ digital platform
On March 11, 2009, we took control over Neovision Holding, the sole shareholder of ITI Neovision, which owns and operates the ‘n’ DTH platform including a new pre-paid digital television service, TNK. This transaction increased our direct ownership interest in Neovision Holding to 51%.
On December 10, 2009 we entered into a share purchase agreement with ITI Media Group, for the acquisition of 49% of the shares of the Neovision Holding, owner of ITI Neovision – the operator of the ‘n’ digital platform. Upon the closing of the transactions by the share purchase agreement we will directly hold 100% of the shares of Neovision Holding.
