Zoran Powers COSHIP HD Cable Set-Top Boxes Demonstrated at CCBN

SUNNYVALE, Calif — Zoran Corporation (NASDAQ: ZRAN) announced that it will demonstrate new high definition China Cable set-top box models with bi-directional broadcast capabilities, at the China Cable Broadcasting Network (CCBN) 2010 conference in Hall 1B, Booth B704.
Demand for high definition bi-directional cable set-top boxes is increasing significantly in China to provide the high quality video content Chinese customers increasingly expect as flat panel televisions become common in the home.

Zoran’s SupraXD® 180 H.264 processor powers COSHIP’s new cable set-top boxes with the following features: high definition H.264 and MPEG-2 Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) – cable and MPEG2-compliant audio and video decoding; advanced ports and outputs for USB, Ethernet and HDMI. COSHIP’s China Cable set-top boxes also support the most popular conditional access and data browser software, and easy-to-use On Screen Display (OSD), and integrate IP QAM, Ethernet, and other bi-directional cable services.
