Ziggo prepares for 3D
Tuesday, April 6th, 2010Dutch cable company Ziggo has held a press conference at which it showed, using TVs from Samsung, that it is capable of offering 3D TV to its customers. Ziggo is hoping to be ready to broadcast the FIFA World Cup 2010 in 3D.
In most cases, Ziggo subscribers who already have an HD set-top box will be able to use it for the reception of 3DTV with the addition a 3D-capable television. Such TVs are now increasingly becoming available in the Netherlands.
