300,000 Dolce clients in 10 months since the service was launched

300,000 clients chose the digital television service of Romtelecom in the 10 months since it was launched, proving that the Romanians have a high interest in best quality digital television services.

“The secret of the Dolce success is due, on one hand, to our efforts to offer to our clients the kind of content they like, and, on the other hand, to impeccable sound and image quality, correlated with accessible tariffs, which now start from 1.95 per month. With Dolce we took a significant step toward the multimedia content area, and the figures registered in less than a year since the service was launched prove that it was a wining step. As in the case of project Customer 1st, this winning step is taken both by the company and by the clients as: “You win, we win!”, Yorgos Ioannidis, Chief Executive Officer of Romtelecom declared.

After Dolce was launched, Romtelecom permanently improved its content and starting with September 2007 began to offer new programs and two new TV packages, plus one month free of charge for MAXPAK, offered for all new subscribers. Monthly subscription for the basic package Variety Special is of only 1.95 Euro, VAT excluded, for the first year of the contract, for Romtelecom clients.

On clients request, to the 45 programs included in the basic package of Dolce service, Variety, were added free of charge Taraf and Etno channels.

Moreover, all Dolce clients can add Kids Pack on their option list, a new package dedicated exclusively to children, for only 1 Euro/month (VAT excluded). The package includes 4 channels, of which two of them are a premiere in Romania: Baby TV and KidsCo, the other two – Jetix and Nickelodeon, are also very popular among children. The clients that sign a subscription for Kids Pack until January 15, 2008 have a free of charge subscription for the first subscription month.

The second new package recently added to Dolce offer is the Hungarian Pack, for 0.8 Euro/month (VAT excluded), which includes: MTV1, MTV2, RTL Klub, Film+ and Duna TV. The persons who sign a subscription for this package during this period do not pay the subscription until February 29, 2008.

Moreover, all new Dolce clients can watch, free of charge, for 30 days, the programs included in MAXPAK package: HBO, HBO Comedy, Cinemax and Cinemax 2. All these who want to benefit of MAXPAK even after the 30 days free of charge, can order it for a tariff of 3.9 Euro/month (VAT excluded).

Romtelecom clients who sign a Dolce subscription till January 15, 2008 pay only 1.95 Euro/month (VAT excluded) during a whole year for the basic package Variety Special, for contracts signed for 2 years. Starting with the second year, the tariff is 3.9 Euro/month (VAT excluded). Moreover, Romtelecom clients receive the installation kit in custody, no rent paid, have free of charge installation and, if they sign a 2-years contract, they don’t pay the activation fee.
