GRENOBLE, France — Allegro DVT announces its cutting edge AL8000 broadcast encoder, packed with new features for H.264/MVC and H.264/SVC applications. For this, the AL8000 embeds high-bandwidth 3G-SDI or dual HD-SDI inputs, ready to encode 1080p60 and full-HD 3D live content.

The AL8000 complies with :

  • AVC high profile at level 4.2
  • SVC scalable high profile at level 4.2
  • MVC stereo high profile at level 4.1

AL8000 let you add the best available HD content (1080p60 and full-HD 3D), and saves operator’s network bandwidth by avoiding simulcasting of multiple H.264/AVC streams.
