Delivers High Quality Video and Connected Products Technology

SUNNYVALE, Calif. — Zoran Corporation (Nasdaq: ZRAN) announced that its Vaddis® multimedia decoder is the processor in the new Sansa® TakeTV™ (formerly “USBTV”) PC to TV video player from SanDisk Corporation.

Sansa TakeTV player is a new product that enables consumers to transport downloaded digital video content from a personal computer, using a small, secure flash memory-enabled media player, and to plug and play on any television via an AV connected cable.

“Most consumers prefer to watch digital video content on the television in the comfort of their home media room, rather than on the PC,” said Eli Harari, SanDisk CEO. “SanDisk’s new flash-based Sansa TakeTV allows them to quickly and effortlessly move videos from the PC to the TV, delivering a simple, elegant way to allow consumers to watch video on their home television set. And, thanks to our partner Zoran, it will be very high quality video.”

“Zoran technology provides the backbone to high quality video and connectivity between devices for much of the consumer electronic industry’s digital product lines. We are pleased to enable high quality video in SanDisk’s new Sansa TakeTV product, which is expected to provide consumers with improved digital entertainment experiences,” said Levy Gerzberg, president and CEO, Zoran Corporation.
