FarEasTone launches mobile TV for smartphones and tablets
Wednesday, November 17th, 2010Taiwanese mobile operator Far Eastone Telecommunications (Taipei: 4904) has announced the launch of a mobile TV service (é 傳行動電視) for smartphones and tablet PCs. The service consists of 20 channels and is priced at NT$168 (US$5.5) per month.
The service operates over 3G or WiFi and can be received on the Apple iPad as well as Android-based ‘Pads’ such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Android smartphones and Apple’s iPhone are also supported.
