1 million HD customers for Sky Deutschland

In its Q4 2010 results Sky Deutschland (XETRA: SKYD.DE) announced that its HDTV service had added 133,000 subscribers in the quarter and 325,000 subscribers in the full year to give a total of 593,000 paying HD subscribers. When those customers with HD capable set-top-boxes who receive the free HD Welt channels are included, Sky had an HD viewing customer base of over 900,000 at the end of 2010.

Sky has now announced that this total has passed the 1 million mark.
