TiVo and ONO Will Offer Most Advanced TV Service in Spain

ONO to Deploy Next Generation TV Offering, Blending High Quality TV Content With Broadband Capabilities

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS — Grupo Corporativo ONO, the largest cable operator in Spain and a leading provider of broadband communication and entertainment services, and TiVo Inc. (NASDAQ: TIVO), the creator of and a leader in television services for personal video recorders, today announced deployment details of their highly anticipated next generation DVR offering, giving ONO customers Spain’s most advanced television platform which seamlessly blends Internet and traditional television content delivered through ONO’s modern fibre optic network while interacting with TiVo’s award-winning user interface.

In addition to controlling live TV, with the TiVo® DVR from ONO customers will be able to set Season Pass® Recordings to automatically record the user’s favorite programs, schedule recordings when not at home, or even record programs based upon a users’ interests through WishList® searches. In addition to searching and recording programs, the TiVo DVR from ONO also offers a library of broadband-delivered on demand video and interactive applications.

As previously announced, ONO is the exclusive distributor of TiVo’s advanced television services in Spain and TiVo will become the exclusive software provider for all next generation set-top boxes deployed by ONO.
