Digital TV in 36.3% of TV households in Lithuania
Wednesday, September 14th, 2011VILNIUS — According to market research firm TNS, at the end of the first half of 2011 multi-channel TV was being received in 69.4% of Lithuanian TV households, up 7 percentage points since the beginning of the year. 44.4% were receiving cable TV.
The proportion of households with digital TV either by satellite, cable, IPTV or terrestrial reached 36.3 percent. The fastest growing segment was digital terrestrial which was available in 22.2 percent of TV households.
