LONDON — ANGA Cable, 12-14 June – Stand B16 — At ANGA Cable 2012 NDS Group will demonstrate solutions that enable a unified approach to TV on any device, both now and for the future.

With existing solutions that are being deployed in both European and international markets, NDS will showcase how its technologies enable pay-TV operators to provide a consistent service across any device, and over any network.

“The European pay-TV industry is going through an exciting period of change; we are proud to be involved in some of the most groundbreaking deployments in the market, and at ANGA 2012 we will be showcasing the technologies that will drive the future of pay-TV.” commented Yves Padrines, NDS Vice President and General Manager EMEA.

To demonstrate how NDS solutions enable the distribution of content cost-effectively and with a managed quality of service in and around the home, the NDS Unified Gateway™ will showcase scenarios where content is viewed on any IP-enabled device – managed with Jungo’s Panorama remote management software. All devices show the NDS Snowflake™ UI in HTML5 powered by NDS Remote UI technology.

The NDS Unified Headend™ and NDS InfiniteTV™ demonstrate how Over-the-Top (OTT) services can be delivered to and secured on multiple devices whether in the home or on the go – enabling a companion experience that is secured by VideoGuard Connect™, the DRM for multiplatform pay-TV, and engages with the core TV platform through open APIs as part of the NDS Service Delivery Platform™.

At the show, NDS will showcase hybrid customer deployments – utilising both OTT and broadcast delivery for on-demand services with NDS’ MediaHighway® set-top box software. MediaHighway enables the deployment of advanced hybrid services over multiple delivery networks with added value functionality.

In addition to existing solutions from NDS, demonstrations at ANGA 2012 will include NDS’ conceptual vision of the future of TV – with compelling, immersive and varied television and media experiences in the home environment. No longer constrained by the limits of today’s displays, NDS will demonstrate technologies that use the concept of immersion level to deliver the optimum experience.
