OpenTV defends Intellectual Property Rights
SAN FRANCISCO, California — OpenTV, Inc., a Kudelski Group company (SIX:KUD.S) and a pioneer in digital television and advanced advertising solutions, announced today that it has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) in the United States District Court in Delaware. The lawsuit alleges that Netflix is willfully infringing seven U.S patents owned by OpenTV. OpenTV is represented by Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
