Neotion DVB-T2 CAM for EvoTV in CroatiaMonday, July 22nd, 2013
AUBAGNE — NEOTION has developed a new Cardless solution for evoTV, Croatian Post’s PAY TV service, a technologically advanced digital television service based on terrestrial digital video broadcasting.
NEOTION CAM is powered by Irdeto Media Content Protection on Cardless features and registered as a CI Plus 1.3 module.
evoTV CAM was developed accordingly to HP Produkcija d.o.o. technical requirements. HP Produkcija is a company wholly owned by Croatian Post. Croatian partner Chipoteka (Z-el d.o.o) also supported us locally during the entire project.
NEOTION CAM is to be bundled with DVB-T2 TV-sets – especially designed by Grundig for the evoTV offer. The whole package is from now on distributed across Croatia through Grundig local network coordinated by Alles d.o.o.
evoTV users can choose among seven thematic program packages – bouquets – and exchange them as they wish. In the first year, the users get a unique and valuable gift – the HBO and Cinemax bouquet. They can also watch all bouquets for 1 HRK during the first two months. evoTV is the only PAY TV on the market today that does not demand a contractual obligation for a set duration. evoTV is also the first PAY TV service that “travels” with the user, since it does not depend on telephone lines or an internet connection.
“The evoTV CAM represents the first step of NEOTION in Croatia with a customized product. We believe in the success of this recent DVB-T2 offer and have associated our know-how to develop a new Cardless CAM. Moreover the cooperation with Grundig and Chipoteka opens the door to the local distribution network with the aim to bring a ready to view package to evoTV users.” Quentin Hamard, Sales Manager at NEOTION.
