Bell's new 6141 High Definition receiver meets increasing consumer demand for HD
Tuesday, January 15th, 2008TORONTO, Ontario — Bell Canada today announced the availability of its next generation 6141 High Definition (HD) satellite receiver, with outstanding HD picture quality and enhanced functionality. Demand for HD continues to rise across North America, with industry experts predicting HDTVs will account for up to 80% of all new TVs sold in 2008.

The new 6141 HD digital satellite receiver delivers seamless surfing between standard and high definition channels, an enhanced electronic programming guide (EPG) with options to view up to nine channels and three hours of scheduling per page and state-of-art HDMI interface for superior audio/video connection.
Additional features of the 6141 HD receiver include access to interactive television (iTV), Caller ID on your TV that displays the names and phone number of people of incoming calls, and USB 2.0 and Ethernet connectivity for future applications and hardware.
