Hungary - NCA to issue DTT tenders in spring 2008

The National Communications Authority (NCA) is expected to issue tenders in spring 2008 in preparation for the launch of digital terrestrial television and radio broadcasting, spokesman György Márton said at an NCA press conference in Pécs. On Monday, Parliament passed a bill amending the Act on digital television broadcasting, which imposes on the NCA the obligation to issue the tenders by 31 December 2008.
