Antik delivers turnkey IPTV solution to Azerbaijan

Antik Technology supplied SuperOnline LTD, a telco company in Azerbaijan, with end-to-end IPTV solution. Project includes set-top boxes, encoders, IPTV management system, catch-up TV and middleware
KOŠICE, Slovakia — Antik Technology provided IPTV hardware and software to SuperOnline LTD, an Azerbaijan fixed broadband company. The pilot project for SuperOnline was deployed at the end of last year. After successful pilot SuperOnline decided to use Juice Mini HD set-top boxes and Juice Headend for commercial roll-out of multicast IPTV services for households. First production batch was handed to customer in January 2014.

Juice Mini is FullHD IPTV set-top box with compact design, reasonable price and low energy consumption. Juice Encoder EN 5008 is able encode to H.264 codec up to 8 HD streams simultaneously. Built-in middleware client allows a variety of standard services – EPG, subtitles, audio tracks selection, billing integration, teletext, PVR, catch-up TV, pause TV, PiP and many more. SuperOnline LTD is quickly expanding telco operator providing broadband high-speed triple-play service over FTTB and ADSL with its major customer base in Baku, Azerbaijan.
