Global collaboration to integrate content discovery and recommendation solutions with ADB’s portfolio and market to pay-TV and multi-service providers
GENEVA, Switzerland — ADB (Advanced Digital Broadcast) [SIX: ADBN] a leading provider of software, systems and service solutions for service providers, and ContentWise, a leader in content discovery and recommendation solutions, today announced a global business development and technology partnership.
As part of the collaboration, ADB will integrate the ContentWise discovery and recommendation engine for live, on-demand and OTT multi-screen video content in its systems integration offerings and will market it worldwide in both integrated and stand-alone solutions, supporting both on-premise and cloud-based deployments.
ContentWise, which specialises in recommendations that increase content consumption and demand, will leverage ADB’s existing portfolio capabilities to offer personalised recommendations, based on actual user consumption of linear and on-demand content, across a range of devices (e.g. media gateways, set-top boxes, PCs, tablets, and smartphones).
“The ever-increasing volume and variety of content from multiple sources can make it difficult for subscribers to find content they want to watch. By integrating ContentWise discovery and recommendations into our solutions we can offer operators the tools they need to deliver intelligent search and contextual, personalised recommendations to subscribers, which can be used to promote premium content,” said Roberto Pellegrini, VP of Strategic Marketing at ADB.
