Rwanda completes switch to digital TV

Following the latest roll out calendar issued by the Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA), the final regions of the country were switched over to digital TV on 31st July 2014. The switchover began on January 31st 2014 with transmitters around the capital, Kigali. Further regions were converted in March and May.
According to RURA there are three brands of DVB-T2 set-top boxes authorised for sale:
