TDS Telecom adds 4,000 TV subscribers in 4Q 2014
Wednesday, February 25th, 2015CHICAGO — Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. (NYSE:TDS) reported total operating revenues of $1,297.1 million for the fourth quarter of 2014, versus $1,183.5 million for the comparable period one year ago.
TDS Telecom finished the year with 23,400 IPTV subscribers, up 2,700 in the final quarter, and up 9,600 year-on-year. Video connections via cable ended the year at 110,400, up 1,300 in the quarter, and up 41,300 over the year.
“TDS Telecom performed well in 2014. The wireline segment continued its targeted fiber deployment and now offers TDS TV service in eighteen markets,” said LeRoy T. Carlson, Jr., TDS president and CEO.
