UPC Austria Launches Digital TV at the Same Price as Analogue

VIENNA — A new generation of digital TV is now available on UPC’s cable network in Austria. A comprehensive service of up to 140 TV channels, a variety of functions such as an easy-to-use program guide, a digital video recorder (DVR), and video-on-demand movies, ensure that all the customer has to do is decide what he wants to see and when.

For the initial period the UPC MediaBox is provided free, and the monthly fee is the same as for the analogue Telekabel TV service.
