Cablecom achieved 1.048 billion Swiss francs turnover in 2007

ZURICH — For 2007 the company increased its turnover by 8.3 percent, to 1.048 billion Swiss francs, compared with the year before. In the digital television segment, cablecom experienced unchecked growth and currently has more than 253,000 customers.
During the 2007 financial year, cablecom grew its turnover to 1.048 billion Swiss francs. This corresponds to a rise of 8.3% compared to the 2006 financial year, when cablecom’s sales totalled 966 million Swiss francs. Further details, such as the operating cash flow (OCF), are included in the consolidated Annual Report on Form 10-K, issued by the parent company Liberty Global, Inc.
Growth of 82 percent digital television customers
Digital television contributed to this positive business performance, with an increase of 82% to 253,000 customers. Cablecom also enjoyed growth with hispeed (by 10.4 percent) and digital phone (by 13.8 percent). Overall, the number of customers in the television segment remained stable. By year end, cablecom still had approximately 1.55 million television customers.
