Primacom nearly quadruples Digital TV activations

MAINZ — The cable operator PrimaCom has, with its triple play bundled offerings of digital television, fast internet and telephony, achieved a huge increase in the number of subscribers over the past twelve months.

Internet numbers to February 2008 doubled to 50,000 contracts. Subscribers to Primacom’s primafon telephony service also increased, by 100 percent to 40,000. This rise in subscribers was surpassed only by the number of new digital TV subscribers, with a gain of more than 300 percent – to nearly 14,000 activations.
