NetCologne launches NetTV IPTV service

KÖLN — German regional cable TV operator, NetCologne, will launched an IPTV service, called NetTV, on May 2nd. For an additional monthly fee of €9.99 NetCologne customers will receive around 80 channels, some in high definition.
The service is multiscreen – a set-top box is available for viewing on the home television, with apps available for smartphones and tablets. The set-top box contains a 1TB hard disk, and supports standard video recorder functionality. The rental cost for the box is €6 per month.
