Vodafone Portugal launches UHD/4K set-top box

Vodafone Portugal has announced the launch of Insight TV UHD, a 4K TV channel dedicated to entertainment. Alongside the new offering, the company is providing a new set-top box – the Tv Box UHD/4K.
The new channel will feature reality TV, documentaries and extreme sports.
The Tv box UHD/4K provides customers with next-generation fiber access with image resolution four times greater than Full HD.
In June 2015 Vodafone was the first operator to provide a UHD/4K channel in Portugal, Funbox 4K UHD. Vodafone also intends to provide coverage of the major games of the upcoming European Football Championship in 4K.
