NexStreaming and Jump bring video services to the next level via Big Data and AI

LONDON — NexStreaming announced today that NexPlayer SDK is now pre-integrated to support the Jump DaaS (Data as a Service) Platform. Video service providers will now deliver the best user experience with their video apps while providing a complete Insights platform for NexStreaming customers. This will help them make data driven business decisions as fast as the rapidly changing market demands.

The NexPlayer SDK is the leading multiscreen video player for mobile apps and is integrated by most global premium video service providers like Turner, HBO Go, Fandango, KPN, BT and many others. Its streaming capabilities provide the best video quality across all mobile devices with an advanced feature set that includes closed-captioning, time shifting, multiple audio tracks and the ability to launch media content onto large screens with Chromecast, integrated into the player itself. NexPlayer technology is also available for Android set-top boxes, Samsung Tizen smart TVs, Unity and 360 video use cases.

The Jump DaaS SDK integrated with NexPlayer offers our clients a set of critical KPIs for the video industry (discovery, acquisition, content, consumption, QoE, satisfaction, and offering). The Jump Insights dashboard will provide Brand Managers and other key video service stakeholders a one-stop shop dashboard where they can view their most relevant video business performance indicators. Additionally, through machine learning and other AI algorithms JUMP provides data enhancements so Nextstreaming customers are able to predict churn, increase conversion rates and deepend their customer engagement.

“We truly believe that cutting-edge technologies like NexPlayer and Jump’s DaaS platform will transform video services and will drive them to the next level of evolution in our industry. By providing a holistic business data view to key video service decision makers, our clients will impact ROI as never before.” says Jerónimo Macanás, CEO and cofounder of the Jump.

“We work with global premium video brands competing at the highest levels in complex environments where the market is maturing and competition is becoming fiercer and fiercer.” says Carlos Lucas, VP Head of Downloadable Technologies.

“NexPlayer provides a video quality competitive advantage that, when added to Jump’s DaaS Platform as an advance analytic module, makes companies understand how, at the end of the day, ‘good data driven decisions’ equates to ‘good dollars’.” states Jesús Herrero, Jump CRO and cofounder.

NexStreaming and Jump will attend TV Connect London (March 28th – March 30, London), where they will showcase their latest demos. You can visit the company at stand #94.
