Kabel-TV Lampert and ZATTOO extend strategic partnership for IPTV Service
- Kabel-TV Lampert’s co-operation with partner ZATTOO spanning several years yields very positive results
ZURICH — As one of the largest private cable network operators in Austria, Kabel-TV Lampert is using ZATTOO’s end-to-end platform on a long-term basis and is announcing the renewal of the contract at CableTech in Austria.
With the operation of the platform and the IPTV service completely carried out by ZATTOO, Kabel-TV Lampert benefits from continuous updates and further developments. The service scope can be expanded to include additional end devices and in future it will provide a marketing option for other network operators who are interested in a TV product but do not want to invest in their own hardware and software. Kabel-TV Lampert and ZATTOO are offering these network operators a fully hosted TV as a Service product, which is being showcased live at CableTech.
Karoline Lampert, the CEO of Kabel-TV Lampert is impressed with the strategic partnership with ZATTOO: “One of the key factors for ZATTOO as a long-term partner is its unique strength as an innovator. This is necessary to continuously improve our TV product and to deliver it to our customers, ensuring the highest quality. With ZATTOO as a partner, we are ensuring our long-term competitiveness against the major communications companies.”
Kabel-TV Lampert was ZATTOO’s first customer in the Austrian market and was therefore an important strategic step toward the expansion of B2B partnerships in Europe. Gernot Jaeger, the chief officer of B2B TV Solutions at ZATTOO is pleased: “The contract renewal with Kabel-TV Lampert confirms our leading position in the European market, and encourages us to continue expanding our TV-as-a-Service approach systematically moving forward.”
Kabel-TV Lampert opted for ZATTOO’s platform back in 2015; although the focus at first was on mobile applications on iOS and Android as well as a browser-based service for PC or Mac. At the end of 2017, Kabel-TV Lampert launched a DVB-C/IP Hybrid TV solution from ZATTOO, consistently expanding its strong market position.
Kabel-TV Lampert and ZATTOO will share a stand together at CableTech, which takes place on 20th to 21st March in Spielberg.
