Vianeos partners with Sunrise to launch Samsung TV app in Switzerland

VIANEOS partners with SUNRISE in Switzerland to launch the TV NEO application on the SAMSUNG smart tv platform

PARIS — Vianeos, one of the leading companies in the IPTV & OTT markets, and Sunrise, the largest non-state-controlled telecommunications company in Switzerland, offering mobile, internet, TV and landline services are proud to announce the launch of the TV NEO application on the Tizen platform for Samsung smart TVs.

Vianeos was responsible for the Design (UX and UI) as well as the development of the application on Samsung Smart TV, which is connected to the Huawei Envision platform.

The Sunrise TV NEO offer is an OTT subscription allowing TV viewers to watch content on several devices such as mobile, tablet, Apple TV and now Samsung smart TVs. It offers more than 230 TV channels, including over 110 channels in HD as well as 3 UHD channels.

Vianeos has developed the application on Samsung Smart TV and has enhanced the user experience for several features such as linear live TV, 7 Days catch-up TV (ComeBack TV), nPVR (cloud personal video recorder), start-over, time-shift, TV Guide…

Vianeos has had less than 5 months to conceive, develop and launch the application which is also available in 4 languages (German, French, Italian and English). The multilanguage approach is critical in Switzerland as content is displayed according to the language of the subscriber (channel lineup, channel order and recommendations).
