Spain - July DTT monthly update released

According to Impulsa-TDT, in May, DTT receiver sales were close to 630,000 units, giving a cumulative total of over 10.8 million, a quarter of which were bought during 2008.

By June, DTT reception was available in 37.0% of Spanish households. In Madrid and Catalonia that figure was close to half of all households.

Sales of integrated tuners (IDTVs and DVD-Combos) and set-top boxes grew by more than 35% during May compared with April.
