Delta Fiber Selects Agama’s Video Monitoring And Analytics Solution To Improve End-User Experience Across All Device Types

LINKÖPING, Sweden — Agama Technologies, the specialist in video service quality and customer experience, today announces that Delta Fiber Netherlands has chosen Agama’s full end-to-end video monitoring and analytics solution to be deployed across its video delivery network and all device types (STB, iOS, Android and web).

Delta Fiber, a leading service provider in the Netherlands owned by Swedish investment company EQT, offers high-speed fibre internet, television, telephony and mobile services. Delta Fiber chose Agama’s end-to-end solution to monitor its video delivery chain and further improve service quality and user experience.

The Agama solution is a complete end-to-end modular suite that provides detailed high-resolution real-time information on service quality, viewer behaviour and device health. It also streamlines network monitoring, active monitoring and analysis of the availability and quality of adaptive bitrate streaming services.

Using the Agama solution, Delta Fiber can integrate end-to-end high-quality monitoring and video analytics into its network. This ensures that Delta Fiber has a data-driven way of working that integrates its network operations team with other departments. It also provides a real-time overview of its entire video delivery system in terms of service quality and availability, as well as end-users’ behaviour and any possible issues with their devices.

“Delivering a high-quality IPTV service requires an end-to-end insight in quality of experience, by having full visibility on all levels of the TV delivery chain. From video ingest to playout on user interface and mobile clients, from STB behaviour to a geographical overview of our network and possible loss of quality within that. The Agama solution with extended dashboards and monitoring options will help different departments to solve or prevent incidents much faster, adding to customer satisfaction”, said Bart Smeels, Manager Platforms & Systems at Delta Fiber.

Mikael Dahlgren, CEO of Agama Technologies, adds: “We believe that our solution will make a real difference to Delta Fiber’s offering, providing the edge for a high-end quality service to consumers. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Delta Fiber and to contributing to the success of its service offering.”

The Agama solution has a proven scalability across millions of devices. It supports all modern delivery technologies and can be used in OTT, IPTV, cable and hybrid deployments. Agama’s dashboards, alarming, correlation and analytics applications help operations and development teams to efficiently operate and improve their video service.

With unique analytics, visualisation and integration capabilities, Agama enables video service providers to implement a data-driven way of working across departments and workflows. It empowers operations, product management, marketing and customer-facing teams with awareness and insights that drive customer satisfaction, lower operational costs and increase agility.
