Spain - September DTT monthly update released

According to Impulsa-TDT, the latest estimate of DTT penetration provided by market research company Sofres shows that DTT is now in 37% of households.

In just the two months of June and July 1.1 million DTV receivers were sold, with July being a record for IDTV purchases at 311,000 units, beating even the Christmas sales period.

On July 23, digital switch-over began in Spain with the switch-off of the analogue television signal in 162 municipalities of Soria province (including Soria town itself).
