Polaroid Roku TV Models Launch at Asda in the U.K.

LONDON — Today, Roku announced the arrival of Polaroid Roku TV models at Asda in the U.K. The new HD and 4K TVs combine Polaroid’s quality hardware with Roku’s award-winning operating system to deliver a best-in-class streaming experience at an accessible price. Available initially in a 55” screen size from 22 July, the Polaroid Roku TV model range at Asda will expand to include smaller and larger screen sizes later this year.

In the U.K., Roku users can watch live TV via an integrated Freeview tuner and stream thousands of free and paid channels, including BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4, My5, Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Paramount+, and more, as well as music services like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Polaroid Roku TV models are also compatible with Airplay 2 and popular voice assistants, including Apple Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant.

Polaroid Roku TV models give entertainment lovers a cinema-style experience right at home. The Polaroid Roku TV 55” 4K offers Dolby Vision, for brighter and more realistic colours, enhanced contrast, exceptional clarity, and Dolby Audio. It features HDMI inputs with HDMI 2.0 to deliver an optimal digital video and audio performance using a single cable. The TVs also boast a sleek, slim frame design for more viewing space.

Availability

The Polaroid Roku TV 55” 4K model is available in Asda stores nationwide from 22 July. Additional screen sizes will be available for purchase later in the year.
