Brazil - Anatel authorises Oi satellite TV

The Board of Directors of Brazil’s Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (Anatel) has given approval for TNL PCS S.A. (Oi) to undertake the provision of TV by satellite (DTH) across the country.
TNL PCS has twelve months in which to begin operations.
