VANCOUVER, BC — Even Technologies Inc. (“Even”, TSX-V: ETI), announces that its subsidiary, Infinite Video Corporation, has entered into a contract to trial high definition (HD) video services over the existing network at Hill Country Telephone Cooperative.

The trial will demonstrate how Infinite Video’s IPTV platform will reach 100% of HCTC’s 14,000 members with delivery of high definition broadcast television, local programming, video on demand and subscriber features such as electronic programming guides and web browsing. The integrated solution offers HCTC a proven, comprehensive platform to immediately deploy HDTV and quickly attract new subscribers to their services.

“By selecting the Infinite Video IPTV solution, we will deliver the best video quality and provide our members with an experience better than cable. This choice will leverage our recent network upgrades to immediately offer high definition video services to our members,” commented Hill Country Telephone Cooperative’s Business Development Manager, Larry Pechacek.

The trial with HCTC further establishes Infinite Video as a leading solution of choice for the IPTV market expected to reach $26.3 billion by 2011. “Infinite Video has built an IPTV platform that minimizes infrastructure and operating costs to enable telcos such as HCTC to launch HD television services and compete cost effectively in a market expected to hit 82.6 million homes in the next three years,” says Robert Saunders, Co-Founder of Infinite Video Corporation.

The Infinite Video IPTV solution utilizes Even Technologies’ video compression to provide a key competitive advantage by delivering enhanced, next generation HD video at 3Mbps over broadband networks currently in place.
