KAON Gains Mediacom Approval for New TiVo STB
ATLANTA, GA — Mediacom Communications Corporation, one of the leading cable operators in the United States, has officially approved the KAON TiVo set-top box (STB).
Kaon’s TiVo STB represents the next generation of home entertainment technology, combining KAON’s high-performance hardware and innovative telemetry and diagnostic tools with TiVo’s industry-leading user interface and features. This approval marks a significant milestone in Mediacom’s ongoing commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology and superior service to its subscribers.
“We are excited to work with Mediacom to bring our state-of-the-art TiVo set-top boxes to their subscribers,” said James Miller, VP Business Development of Kaon. “We chose Mediacom as our lighthouse customer because we know their product launch criteria is extremely thorough, and if we can get their approval, it is a signal to the market the KAON product is consumer ready. We have worked closely with Mediacom to test the product and fine tune our diagnostic and telemetry tools, KRMS and KRView for remote customer support and reduced truck rolls. Beyond the new STB, the tools we are providing allow Mediacom to lead the market in service and support for their customers.”
