INFO-TV-FM wins Poland's DVB-H tender

In response to its tender which closed at 3pm on January 15, 2009, Poland’s Office of Electronic Communications (UKE – Urząd Komunikacji Elektronicznej) received two bids to offer DVB-H mobile TV services in the country.

The applications came from:
Mobile TV Sp. z o.o. of Warsaw; and
INFO-TV-FM Sp. z o.o. of Zamość.

The UKE has announced that the winner is INFO-TV-FM. INFO-TV-FM is a telecommunications operator providing transmission services for radio and television, both for public and commercial broadcasters.

The winner of the competition is entitled to use the licensed frequencies for the period up to May 31, 2015 in 31 Polish cities, and then nationally from June 1, 2015 to December 31, 2023.
