Spain - March DTT monthly update released

According to Impulsa-TDT, January sales of DTV tuners in Spain once again exceeded one million units (1,123,439). The total volume of DTT receivers sold since 2003 is now over 16.3 million units.

IDTV shipments were more than half a million units in January, with flat screen TVs making up the bulk of sales (46.5%).

As of February 2009, 48.5% of Spanish homes have access to DTT.
