Telecom Italia adds 36k IPTV subscribers in Q1

MILAN — Telecom Italia (Milan:TIT) Board of Directors, chaired by Mr. Gabriele Galateri di Genola, today examined and adopted the Group’s Q1 2009 Interim Report on Operations.

Domestic – Fixed-Line Telecommunications – Internet

The IPTV service continues to make inroads onto the consumer market (with a portfolio of 365,000 clients, +36,000 compared with the end of 2008), while Web offerings and activities are continuing to be developed through the Virgilio portal.
